BUSINESS ANALYST (.NET) - CONTRACT - SWORDS - IRELAND - REMOTE Leading Managed IT Services Provider in the Defence and Public sector, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for Application Development Senior Analyst/Developer for .Net Application Development (strong BA skills). Title: Senior Business Analyst Duration: 6 months+ possible extension Location: Swords - Ireland- Remote working- occasional visits to Swords A Senior Business Analyst who can: Put in-place best practices SDLC with a small (3-5 person) supplier-side team for enhancing .Net and Business Objects applications for a small public sector client. Deliver improvements to existing applications, by applying and enforcing Business Analyst best practices. Work productively with our DotNet (.NET) Developer, our Architect, and our interface developer and our PM, and the client's BA and stakeholders. Years Experience as BA: 8+ Years in Business Analysis role or analytic role. Years Experience in UI design (aka UX): 2+ Years working with users on layouts of screens and reports; Inherent appreciation for usability and visual layout, and for how users interact with technology. Years Experience working in specification-driven SDLC: 3 years in projects that are completely controlled by detailed specifications as part of a strict methodology. Mandatory Skills (all of the below): Expert in all aspects of Business Analysis; Qualified BA preferred. Evidence of training courses preferred. Expert in Waterfall SDLC (software development life-cycle); Evidence of training courses preferred. Ability to procure/design the appropriate templates for specification. Expert in eliciting requirements from stakeholder groups (English speaking), and knowledgeable in which approaches to apply to which stakeholder groups; Preference for medical or scientific sector experience. Desirable Skills: Expert in Technical Writing and in technical illustration. Able to visually communicate processes, user interface changes, conceptual data models, and interfaces. Expert communicator both in-person and via Teams calls. Able to control Teams calls, combining structured discussions and visual stimulus materials, and noting actions.
