Information Security Specialist Dublin - Flexible Working 12 Month Contract - Daily Rate Responsibilities: Identify vulnerabilities through testing and collaborate with the cybersecurity team to update defensive procedures as needed Analyze threats and risks, evaluate their impact on systems and technologies, and address risk, performance, and capacity issues Conduct regular phishing tests and administer mandatory annual training Develop, uphold, and support the implementation of enterprise IT and Cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures Perform risk and control assessments, maintain the IT & Cybersecurity risk register, and monitor and report on risk remediation progress Assist internal and external audits by liaising with auditors Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS by overseeing documentation, validation, assessment, and reporting processes Enhance security measures by assessing the evolving threat landscape, monitoring key security indicators, and adapting to changing risk profiles Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of IT experience (5 years in an information security role) Security CertificationS: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CRISC or similar Strong grasp of cyber security operations, technology, and compliance Prior involvement in Cyber Risk Management programs Previous collaboration with legal, audit, and compliance teams Familiarity with common information security management frameworks, including ISO 2700x, NIST Cyber Security Framework, and recognized risk frameworks such as ISO 31000.
