Position Overview: As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our sports management platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to create robust and user-friendly software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality PHP applications and features.
* Collaborate with the development team to define software requirements and specifications.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
* Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Stay up-to-date with PHP development trends and best practices.
* Contribute to the architectural design and planning of software projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience as a PHP developer, with a strong portfolio of PHP projects.
* Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
* Proficiency in PHP and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel)
* Strong experience with Docker
* Experienced with AWS, ALB, ECS, RDS
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and remotely from anywhere in Ireland.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
