Position Title: Platform Engineer Location: Remote (Ireland) We are looking for a skilled and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ansible and terraform, as well as experience with containerization, bash, and shell scripting. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain infrastructure automation code using Ansible and Terraform - Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes - Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Shell - Collaborate with software engineers to ensure proper integration of the platform and applications - Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the platform - Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of the platform Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role - Strong experience with Ansible and Terraform - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Strong scripting skills using Bash and Shell - Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms - Strong problem-solving and communication skills This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
