Position Overview: As an Elixir Developer at our company, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of robust and high-performance Elixir applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable and efficient software solutions that meet our clients' needs. This role provides a unique chance to work on exciting projects while enjoying the benefits of remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and maintain Elixir applications and microservices.
* Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to define project requirements and deliverables.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
* Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
* Stay up-to-date with Elixir and functional programming trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 3 years experience as an Elixir or Ruby developer with some personal or professional Elixir experience
* Solid understanding of functional programming principles.
* Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
* Exposure to Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and Postgres is an advantage
