Contract Test Manager - 12 month contract We have an immediate need for an experienced Test Manager to work with a Public Sector client to strategize and execute the overall test plan for a large upcoming project. The role will initially be contracted for 12 months with a very likely extension beyond 1 year and possibility of gaining a permanent role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager to lead a team within our clients Dublin based headquarters. The daily rate offered will depend on experience ranging from €550-€650 per day and will involve being on site a minimum of 1 day per week. Responsibilities: Manage and lead an experienced QA and testing team, encouraging high performance and efficiency Create, deliver and report on the overall test delivery activities - from initial strategy creation to handover to the end user Deliver detailed reports to all levels of stakeholders , discussing progress and addressing any issues that have been identified Mentor and guide junior members of the team and assist with the overall recruitment processRequirements: At least 5 years' experience within a client facing Test Management role Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager experience would be advantageous Strong knowledge of Project Management and Test Management methodologies In depth knowledge of functional and nonfunctional testing Experience with a range of programming languages Proven experience in working on large scale transformation projects Experience of one or more technology areas such as Integrations, IoT, CRM, ERP etc Excellent communication and leadership skillsDesired Skills: Test manager, software testing, automation testing, manual testing, test automation, project management, UAT management I specialize in recruiting for Software QA and Testing, if you wish to discuss this or other Software QA and Testing opportunities, please feel free to contact Rachel for a confidential chat.
