Principal Software Engineer €90,000 - €100,000 Fully Remote (EU) I am hiring for a Principal role in the team of a multinational payments company. This role is an unusual blend of Software Engineering, client facing work and technical leadership. The ideal candidate should be a strong Software Engineer with experience building SDKs and handling 3rd party integrations. The company primarily use C#, Python and JavaScript but you will gain exposure to several other OOP Languages. Responsibilities - Building SDKs and developing tools, libraries and frameworks to improve the integration process - Client facing work to understand their requirements, difficulties their developers are facing integrating the company's back-end payments products - Collaborate with multiple teams of developers, senior stakeholders within the business, technical architects, integration teams and technical documentation teams. - Be a figure head for the development teams across the company, showing an exemplary professional attitude and a knack for building strong working relationships Requirements - 6+ Years' Software Engineering experience - Strong experience of back-end product development - Experience with building and implementing SDKs and APIs - Experience with various API integration patterns - Strong experience in OO languages (e.g Java, C# etc.) and demonstrable ability to be adaptable and work in new languages and learn new things - Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS preferred - Empathetic and considered approach to solving colleagues and clients issues - Technical Leadership experience, not necessarily from roles titled 'Technical Lead' but some experience coaching and supporting more junior developers much preferred - Comfortable working with high-level management - Proactive problem solving attitude, comfortable with handling issues with uncertain resolutions and taking the lead in setting a direction for their resolution Nice-to-have - Experience in Payments Industry - Experience in Open Source Software communities, and personal interest in the open source model Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business
