We are currently looking for highly customer-focused and enthusiastic Mobile Desktop Support Engineer. The successful candidate should be technically competent, possess good communication skills and be willing to collaborate with the wider IT support teams. As a Mobile Desktop Support Engineer, you will cover sites across Ireland, predominately in and around Dublin, supporting multiple accounts on SLA based tickets/requests, projects and general site support activities. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5-hours per week. Due to the nature of the role there may be a requirement to work overtime / out of hours to ensure we provide support as required to our clients. As a Mobile Desktop Support Engineer you will: Provide a wide range of desktop support to end users in office environments Work to resolve issues accurately and efficiently, within set targets and in a professional manner Take ownership of tickets escalated from the service desk and other teams Work comfortably on your own, identifying and prioritising incidents, requests, and escalations Ensure that all activity is accurately documented and recorded in line with ITIL practises Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, troubleshoot printer problems, support standard software packages, and other general IT tasks Work comfortably in comms areas and data centres, providing Hands and Eyes support to other teams as well as taking ownership and providing on-the-ground feedback and guidance to offshore teams What we are looking for: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Must have a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle Ability to work well with global teams Experience of working in desktop support role is essential Tested software and hardware troubleshooting skills Experience supporting MAC OS and IOS operating systems Experience of supporting Windows 10 Experience of supporting Microsoft Office suites including Office 365 Experiencing working in a highly regulated / ITIL environment, with appropriate service / ticketing systems Proficiency with Network Infrastructure e.g. switches, routers, APs, patching, network architecture knowledge Server Hardware support experiencing (racking & providing Hands & Eyes support) Printer hardware knowledge Willingness to support essential out of hours work when required This is an excellent opportunity to join us and as an employee you will gain access to a large library of training courses and accreditations to help further your skills and development.
