You will be an individual with exceptional communication skills and interpersonal abilities, coupled with hands-on experience in pre-sales environments. You will possess a solid understanding of design and implementation standards and best practices of VMware core infrastructure and NSX. You will collaborate with a variety of customers to understand how you can design solutions that meet their underlying business objectives rather than just implementing the technical product My client is a leading professional services MSP and VMware partner in Ireland. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of up to €100,000. This is a remote role, which will occasionally require you to travel to customer sites. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as NSX Architect for multiple customer environments across managed service and project engagements. Act as reliable technical designer for client project requests and new opportunities Creation and review of customer technical proposals, including high-level design and estimates that meet customer s needs Creation and review of Solution Specifications Installation and delivery of solutions on customer site Create and own full project and solution technical documentation to required standards Have excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with customers, colleagues and superiors. REQUIREMENTS The position requires deep technical knowledge along with strong communication skills. You will be able to lead with hands-on skills from requirements gathering and design to deployment and operational readiness for ongoing environment management. You should have experience and understanding of physical as well as virtual networks, be VCP and/or VCAP certified and have experience in three or more of the following: NSX-V NSX-T Network Insight (vRNI) Carbon Black NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi Networks) VMware Cloud on AWS An understanding of the complementary elements of the Software-Defined Data Centre (SDDC) is essential as you will be working alongside consultants to build SDDC solutions or troubleshooting existing implementations. You must also have: Strong technical design ability and expertise in the implementation and configuration of Virtual & physical infrastructure solutions. Experience of capacity planning and sizing methodologies Design and Implementation of High Availability Solutions required Cloud management tools experience desirable ITIL Foundation Certified desirable Security experience Linux experience Our client is offering a salary between €90,000 and €100,000 D.O.E., along with a 10% performance bonus, health insurance and a pension scheme
