Are you a software engineer with a passion for cutting-edge research and pushing the boundaries of technology? We have an exciting opportunity for a Research-Focused Software Developer to join a dynamic team and contribute to groundbreaking projects. You will take cloud services projects from inception, through initial experimentation, into service development, and finally proof of concept verification with early-stage customers. If successful, these projects will then be converted into customer offerings. Responsibilities: Collaborate with a skilled development team to drive forward-looking incubation projects, with a strong emphasis on research and exploration. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to explore innovative solutions and emerging technologies. Translate research findings into practical applications, implementing proof of concepts and prototypes. Evaluate and select optimal solution architectures, leveraging open-source technologies and industry best practices. Proactively identify project risks and devise mitigation strategies. Share your research insights and technical expertise with team members. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, fueling your curiosity and passion for discovery. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on research-based projects. Proficiency in Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and working collaboratively in research-driven environments. Strong programming skills in Java, GO, Python, or similar languages. Excellent time management and independent work capabilities. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with industry-standard security practices for developing and operating cutting-edge solutions. Experience with GPU, DPU, or SmartNIC programming. Knowledge of diverse Software Development Life Cycles (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings in a clear and concise manner.
