Python Software Engineer Dublin €50,000 - €80,000 My client is an innovative and well-funded fintech startup revolutionizing the way people manage their finances. We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in Python and Django (or Flask) to join their growing engineering team. As a Software Engineer at this Start-Up, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing a fintech platform, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and user-friendly. If you are passionate about fintech, technology, and building exceptional software solutions, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet business requirements. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python using Django. - Design new features from the ground-up, taking full ownership of the project you work on including building a roadmap and developing the architecture for new features. - Work on API development and integrations. - Develop and maintain front-end components using React (experience is a bonus). - Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices. - Work long hours as the Start Up ramps up - This job is only suitable for hard working individuals Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Ideally a Master's degree also. - Proven experience in Python and Django development. - Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure. - Experience with React is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Prior experience in the fintech or financial services industry is advantageous but not required.
