For our client, a global provider of IT services and business solutions we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer.
The DevOps engineer will be based on our client's end customer’s side in Shannon (minimum 2 days a month)
They will support the design and development of components and solutions for a global testing platform. This platform is intended to be used on autonomous vehicles and advanced control systems to class leading infotainment, cloud-connected features and integration of consumer electronic technologies
Key responsibilities:
- Support the build of products and services that enable global test automation at scale with integration to CICD Pipelines and services.
- Build end to end SDLC compliant pipelines that enables Continuous Delivery.
- Provide strategic input into modern DevOps enablement of teams.
- Design and implement software features to meet desired user experience, functional, and security requirements, coordinating efforts with product owner and development leads.
- Create, maintain, and contribute to documentation including code comments, wiki pages, and READMEs.
- Integrate tools and services that enable end to end testing and deployments.
- Support a global platform of DevOps tooling.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and technical experts to support project execution.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Experience automating modern, compliant, and automated CI and CD pipelines.
- Extensive hands-on experience with administrating GitLab, jFrog Platform, Jira, Confluence.
- Proven experience setting up the automated execution of BDD test cases and with a range of cloud providers such as GCP & AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience in automation with language: JavaScript or Typescript/Python.
- Experience in leading and conducting code quality reviews
- Excellent knowledge and applied experience of version control systems (e.g GitLab)
- Strong architectural mindset, thinking about design before implementation.
Salary: up to €80K p.a. (DOE)
