Generally speaking, I’m looking for a very senior, seasoned software engineer to help establish an engineering team for one of the most exciting startups in Ireland. They already have a successful (AI) product in operation (the development was outsourced), but they still have a lot to build. This is 100% greenfield, you’ll be working alongside the CTO, designing, planning, coding and mentoring a team of developers. Their stack is Python/Django and they are moving to AWS currently, the likelihood is they’ll stick to this stack… but you’ll have your own input on that. They plan to hire 10 more in tech by the end of this year.
The founders of the company have been there and done it, they’ve already taken a startup to acquisition last year, for you there will be a notable equity component and attractive incentives linked with further funding rounds.

The ideal person...
- 8+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong Python experience.
- Experienced working with a high level of responsibility, ideally in a startup.
- Has built Cloud Services (AWS nice to have).
- Experience taking ideas through to production and overseeing the whole process.
- A good communicator and mentor.
- Experience in an AI environment would be helpful.
- Creative.
