eir evo are currently recuuting for a Red Hat Ansible Professional Services Consultant to join our growing team!
As an eir evo Red Hat Ansible Professional Services consultant you will design and deploy Red Hat Ansible solution for our customers. Integrating and automating this solution with Customers containers, virtualisation , server, and network platforms amongst others.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Leverage Develop Ansible playbooks and modules to deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure environment.
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support.
- Provide technical support concerning automation solution usage.
- Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed.
Required Experience/Skills/Attributes
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Linux patching, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, bug fix updates, and core builds
- Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower. (Experience with Ansible strongly preferred, however open to other DevOps (Chef, Salt, Puppet) tools experience).
- Strong experience coding and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Batch files, etc.) and using Bash Scripting to automate daily OS level tasks, monitoring
- Strong experience with RHEL 7, RHEL 8, Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 / 2019 System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Source Code Control Systems (Git) and application build automation tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of and operational experience with methodologies related to Agile and DevOps
- Experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead.
- Knowledge of enterprise server security and patch management
- Knowledge of configuration and change management
- Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements.
Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes
- Strong background in VMWare administration.
- Knowledge of VMWare Integrated Openstack or Openstack.
- Cloud technologies with an emphasis on Azure or Amazon Web Services.
- ITIL and managed service knowledge
- LAN/WAN networking experience.
- LAN / WAN network integration and configuration with ansible
- Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills
