itContracting are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Murex Automation Tester located with our client in Dublin with hybrid working flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Acquire business and MX.3 expertise in the assigned module, and understand how customers use it
- Functional testing of various modules of MX.3 using MX test
- Maintain a suite of automatic tests on the mainstream code line and the customers releases patches to ensure that the integration of new code does not negatively impact the global quality of the platform
- Analyze results of manual and automated tests by performing root cause analysis of encountered behaviors, following up on identified issues (regressions, bugs, impacts…) with corresponding peers (developers, business analysts) till resolutions, and fixing/adapting tests when relevant
- Ensure quality and stability of the MX.3 platform
- Work closely with integration stream to handle the development and adaptation of interfaces between the client information systems and Murex MX.3
- Prepare and execute test cases
- Update the test execution status in JIRA
- Raise Defects, retest and to track for closure
- Attend status calls and other project calls
- Coordinate with Dev team for defect closure
- Provide inputs for Daily / Weekly Status reports
- Provide Walkthrough to the business and dev team on test scenarios, test cases and test closure
- Provide the application KT and Training up new joiners
Requirements
- Trading applications Front Office/Middle Office and Bank Office basic knowledge
- Banking domain knowledge
- Knowledge of Core liquidity products, including: Bonds, Interest Rate and Currency Swaps, Futures, Money Markets Products, Repurchase Agreements (repos) and Margin Account
- Module experience (Workflow Modules such as MXML, DataMart , FO, Bloomberg Reuters)
- Knowledge of various asset classes MX test
- MX .3 Hands on application knowledge
- Functional testing of various modules of MX.3 using MX test
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
