Job Title: IT Systems Support Administrator
Contract/ Permanent: Permanent
Location: Dublin

Overview: Our client based in Dublin is looking for a IT Systems Support Administrator. This role is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing our software, hardware and networks. You will be expected to be responsible for designing, configuring and installing software, hardware and networks, monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues while ensuring security and efficiency of IT.

Key Responsibilities:

 Be self-motivated and work well with end-users, management, internal and external technical support personnel
 Provide planning and manage rack installation for server and storage systems in a 24x7 enterprise environment
 Hands-on repair of equipment; swapping HDDs, NVMEs, power supplies, DIMMs, etc.
 Perform site audits of installation and cabling work performed by others.
 Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the systems to internal Customer Support staff.
 Perform all backups and recovery for the hosted environment.
 Deploying VMs, templates, managing iSCSI and other storage solutions.
 HCI cluster management and support.
 VMware and vSphere configuration support and updates
 DC, DNS, GPO, users, security groups and system administration

Experience Required & Qualifications:

 At least 3 year of experience as a System Administrator
 At least 2 years experience of working with VMware and vSphere
 Proven Powershell and batch scripting experience
 Strong Windows Server knowledge
 Good Linux knowledge
 Flexible in approach, capable of prioritising numerous work streams
 Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills
 Minimum 4 (Level 3 qualification or equivalent) Maths and English education
 IT related qualification is desirable
