My Client are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their growing team as they begin a major Digital Transformation. My client are based in Dublin and are currently working remotely, however will be adopting a hybrid working model once restrictions ease (2 days per fortnight onsite).

This is an initial 12 Month Contract with view to extend for long after, and is paying a very strong rate.

Responsibilities:

* Work with various stakeholders and other teams to ensure design, code and requirements meet high standards
* Work closely with technical leads and solution architects, as well as mentor and support junior members
* Contribute to IT strategy to ensure that goals are met

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent formal training
* 6+ years experience working as developer
* Extensive experience working with Java, Spring Framework and REST Services
* Knowledge around Microservices and API design principles
* Continuous build / Integration experience (Jenkins, BitBucket, Jenkins)
* Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS desired)
