My Client are looking for open-minded candidates who are passionate about testing software, that can enhance the team testing strategy with their expertise, eager to learn and transfer the knowledge to other teammates.
You will be working as part of a Scrum Team to deliver secure, robust, and scalable software to our customers, in a fast-paced agile environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Challenging developers to write secure and robust code by setting up thorough test suites.
• Driving the identification of the testing strategy for new and existing features.
• Supervise quality levels and test strategies for the Development team.
• Collaborating with the team in the creation of BDD scenarios and writing feature files.
• Advising the team when non-functional testing is required.
• Collaborating with developers and automation engineers to automate tests and run them in the Continuous Integration environment.
• Identifying weak areas of the application and running targeted exploratory testing.
• Stay up to date with latest technologies and ways to test them.
Skills
• Extensive experience in testing web applications.
• Deep knowledge of the HTTP protocol and client/server communication via REST APIs.
• Extensive experience with tools such as Chrome Developer Tools and Postman or equivalents.
• Extensive experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities and how to find/test them.
• Experience with Azure DevOps test management tool or equivalent.
• Experience in creating test plans, test scripts and exit reports in line with IEEE 829 standard.
• Good knowledge and experience of various programming languages such as Javascript, C#, HTML and CSS.
• Experience in using Powershell or bash scripting.
• At ease using source control tools such as GIT.
• Great communicator.
Desirable Skills:
• ISTQB Certification
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress or equivalent
• Experience in performing and setting up load/stress tests with relevant tools.
• Experience in penetration/security testing.
• Experience in testing Web application in a Cloud environment (AWS in particular).
Qualifications
• Sc./B.Eng. or greater in a computing discipline within a software engineering environment.
