Ergo are seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Engineer for an role with our client in Dublin city centre. This is an initial 12 month contract with potential to extend. The successful candidate will provide remote and deskside support to internal users in an Office 365 / ITIL environment.
Excellent daily rates apply.
Onsite canteen and gym in one of Dublin’s nicest offices.
Availability to start immediately is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide L2 / L3 desktop support to local users on Microsoft 365
• Resolve escalated tickets as required
• Troubleshoot user issues on Remote Desktop
• Software Deployment and patching
• Email archiving
• Provide basic application support to ERP system
What you need:
• Previous experience in a similar role – Helpdesk Engineer, Systems Administration, Technical Support
• Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, GPO
• Citrix
• Office 365 administration – including Teams
• Depoyment tools – Altiris (preferred) / SCCM / Endpoint Manager
• Knowledge of ITIL an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with troubleshooting IT systems
