My client, a market leader in their area, are seeking a Software Architect to join their team on an initial 12 - 24 month contract.

Responisbilities:

* Gather a deep understanding of the current technology stack, principles and standards in order to advise on the future technology choices, direction and policies for continuous improvement
* Lead, support and mentor technical teams through delivery projects and to encourage an inquisitive development culture
* Provide guidance to shape standards for development and governance

Skills Required:

* 6+ years experience
* Java, Spring Framework and REST Services
* Microservices and API design principles
* Web-based, Service-based and Entrerprise application architecture knowledge
* Continuous build / Intergration experience (Jenkins, BitBucket, Jenkins)
* AWS experience isn't essential however it is a plus!
