Software Test Engineer (Medical Device) required for a global medical technology company based in Limerick. The Software Test Engineer (Medical Device) will support product development with verification and validation to test and qualify products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Test team Lead to drive the test process – develop test strategy, estimations, coordinate/conduct testing activities, work with cross functional R&D teams, manage issues
- Assign tasks to test team members and review test progress
- Write and review test plan, cases, summary report, and other test documents
- Engage in continuous improvement of test practice and processes
What is needed:
- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 3+ years’ commercial experience Software Test Automation experience
- Some experience working in the Medical Device sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a distributed multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in leading process improvements and design
