Software Architect, Dublin
A well-known global brand in the Dublin area are seeking to add a strong Software Architect to their development department.
My client have a good set up already for development, they follow best practises and ensure to do things as cleanly and correctly as possible - definitely a key factor in their long term, continual success and growth within the global software market. They have about 14 development teams in their Dublin office and are hoping that you can come on board, sit above these teams and provide technical expertise and direction to their various projects and products these teams are working on.
This is a great role for the right Architect, the technology is very good, it's modern and constantly updated and the teams are technically very strong as the client mostly hire Senior Developers for their expertise. There's a lot of opportunity to influence within this role, we are hoping you identify and then push through suitable changes in the tech stack, processes or code base.
Requirements:
* 7 or more years developing software
* Experience with software architecture, understanding of modern web architecture
* Experience with C# .Net Core, ideally experience with another language too
* Multi-cloud experience - ideally with Azure and either AWS or GCP
* Experience with UI development, ideally using Angular but good JavaScript is fine
* Experience in working in a Microservices architecture environment
* Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL and Document BDS
* Understanding/experience with machine learning or AI - beneficial
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM, CI/CD, TDD
