PFH Technology Group is hiring a Microsoft Consultant to deliver projects to our client base nationwide. This is an opportunity to join a successful, growing organisation and team with a very strong ICT reputation in the Irish Market. As a Microsoft Consultant, you will deliver and implement leading edge solutions from the Microsoft portfolio. The role will be involved with end to end design and delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions focusing on Microsoft technologies - M365, O365, Azure. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical expert with expertise in hands-on deployment as well as knowledge in the design of technical solutions. The role will be very client-facing therefore good customer soft skills are essential as well as a proven track-record of costing, estimations and delivering profitable solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Hands-on infrastructure design and deployment experience in enterprise organisations working alongside infrastructure and operations teams.
* Design new solutions for public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
* Work alongside Microsoft and other large vendors
* Writing detail documentation of technical designs
* Balancing client needs and adhering to SLA's
* Act as a mentor to other team members, i.e. coaching in the delivery of projects, tasks and/or troubleshooting exercises
* Produce high-quality documentation to support workarounds and/or resolutions to assist in knowledge transfer and efficiencies
* Manage the agreed Change management processes.
* Adhere to our client's published procedures and processes
Skills & Experience is required across a broad range of the technologies listed below, in technologies where a candidate does not currently have skill sets required, the candidates must be willing to take on additional training, certification and upskilling to deliver the services.
* Hands-on delivery of public, private and hybrid cloud projects (IaaS, PaaS)
* Proven track record of detailed infrastructure design and solutions
* Experience of Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies:
* Teams, Exchange Online, Intune, O365, SharePoint Online, Azure AD
* Good knowledge of Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Experience with Microsoft Azure.
* Experience if O365 migrations.
* Experience with scripting and automation tools.
* Must have Windows & Active Directory Skills at Server Level
* Must have SCCM image packaging and deployment and management experience.
* Must have Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft platforms and services.
* SCOM experience would be an advantage.
Education
* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
* MCSE in Microsoft technologies.
* Additional Microsoft certification desirable.
* Continue to gain IT certifications to improve technical knowledge.
