The client is an award winning Irish company that has been in operation since 1992. Since their launch they have consistently grown having developed their product from scratch to serve the needs of their customers. They are now entering another expansion phase and are actively seeking to hire a professional Principal ERP Implementation consultant.

The role, which can be based in Ireland or the UK, will have ultimate responsibility for the smooth implementation of systems with client customers from pre-sales to final sign off, by ensuring all implementations are mapped effectively to the needs of the customers and planned accordingly.

Specifically the main duties and responsibilities will include:

You will project manage implementation projects maximising resources and profitability while ensuring projects are defined effectively and that customers understand the specification of the software. The role will liaise with customers to define requirements and specifications for software modifications. Assist the development team during the development of modifications and subsequent testing and documentation of changes. Train the customer’s project team and internal colleagues in the operation of modified software ensuring a smooth handover of projects to the customer and support function. In addition you will provide accounts and application training including demonstrations to support pre-sales consultancy.

Candidates should have a minimum of six years experience as an ERP Implementation consultant in multiple industry sectors. They should have strong accounting application experience with a background in successfully taking ERP systems implementation projects from concept to final sign off. You will need excellent communications skills both verbal and written and a proven ability to present to senior management.
