Senior Software Engineer
Senior Software Engineer sought for a growing software company based in Dublin.
As the Senior Software Engineer, you will lead a team of developers and will be responsible for the development of software layers for integration, aggregation and communication of their systems software into various BMS application platforms – depending on the clients' needs and requirements.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Software Engineer to work on various IoT technologies. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of software development experience with proven experience in Python as well as keen interest/knowledge in working with IoT and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
· Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features, reliability, performance, and efficiency of the PureCloud platform.
· Work with development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
· Design and implement major changes and new features.
· Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure.
· Actively review code, mentor junior development staff, and provide peer feedback.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices.
· Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.
· Understand & comply with PCI, HIPAA security and privacy laws.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years' development experience with proven experience in using Python.
· Relevant IT qualification
· Knowledge/Familiarity of Project Haystack and/or BrickSchema is advantageous.
· Experience in AWS Cloud or GCP.
· Familiarity with Secure MQTT is desirable.
· Knowledge of Network Security technologies.
