SENIOR .NET ENGINEER
The role is based in a multinational software development organisation located in the city centre.
This is a senior level position within the company’s development area and is involved in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and rollout to ensure .NET development is optimal and consistent across all layers of the solution. You will provide technical leadership to an external software development team and take ownership for component design, development and maintenance. In addition you will be responsible for the Day to day management of external developers reviewing code and technical quality standards. Management of communication between project managers, internal stakeholders and external development team

We would like to meet experienced engineers with at least 6 years .NET/MOSS engineering and experience of .NET Frameworks 2.0/3.0/3.5, ASP.NET/C#/ AJAX. Our wish least would include exposure to as many of the following technologies as possible but we are realistic! Experience of VMware/Hyper V/VPC/Virtual Box, Internet Information Services 6/7, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 would be an advantage.

You will definitely be someone with strong team management experience who enjoys technically leading software developers both on site and remotely. Finally to do all of the above you need to be an effective communicator.
