Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Digital Design Engineer required to work on the design of embedded high speed digital systems such as SBC (Single board Computers) or Routers. The ideal candidate should have experience with board level implementation of Embedded Processor, Ethernet, USB and other peripheral devices. The candidate should be capable of taking a design from concept, through layout test and production, evaluate and implement hardware and functional requirements. The candidate will be required to perform detailed analysis of grounding, shielding, and EMI/EMC issues at the system level.

The candidate is also required to develop test plans and strategies, specify instrumentation, write test procedures, and analyze test results. Participate in team and customer meetings, technical and peer design reviews, and problem solving meetings. Perform and support analysis, simulations and testing.

Interface with and support test personnel to identify test requirements, electrical interfaces, and critical hardware/ software issues. Support test installations, write operating procedures and collect and analyze test data.

Ideally candidate should also have some experience with OrCad/Allegro PCB Layout or other PCB layout and simulation packages.
