Excellent opportunity available for an experienced consultant / architect to play a lead role in the delivery of Information Transport Systems for an established client base. The role will involve pre-sales , architecture , customer management and team development and as such is a senior level post within the company. Crucial to success will be the ability to engage with C level stakeholders in client organisations, excellent technical design skills and a strong commercial awareness.

The position is based in Nigeria and the client welcomes EU nationals interested in the role. Accommodation will be provided and fixed term contracts can be arranged as well as permanent contracts.

Skills / Experience

Advanced design knowledge of information Transport Systems (concepts, solutions, products, standards and methodologies) and related technologies including: Cabling (UTP, Fibre, Building, Campus), Wireless LAN, Data Centers.

Good design knowledge of the following systems: Surveillance, Access Control, LAN switching and routing devices.

Basic Knowledge of the following systems: IP Telephony, Contract Centre, Video Conferencing, Internet Access, UPS systems, 220VAC electrical cabling to work areas, IP TV, Building Control/Management Systems.

Very good oral, written, and presentational skills. Must be able to prepare high quality written proposals.

Good customer relationship skills

Good knowledge of relevant international standards and best practices

Must be prepared to travel frequently
