What IT Engineers think about their boss, workmates, money, etc

ComputerJobs.ie – Irelands No. 1 Jobs site for IT professionals has released their results from a survey of 36,000 IT Engineers.

Q 1. What are the most annoying habits of your work colleagues?

Highest at 26% was “Always talking about office gossip” followed by “Grovelling to the boss” at 22% and closely followed by “bad hygiene" @ 21%.

Q2. Could you do a better job than your manager?

Highest was 48% @ “Yes no problem” with 29% at “No – thanks all the same”

Q3. Yes, I would move jobs if I could work 2-3 days a month from home?

A whopping 65% said yes with only 13% saying “No, I enjoy working in an office”

Q4. Are you thinking of moving jobs in the next 6-12 months?

54% “yes” with only 15% saying “no I’m happy in my job” and 26% “maybe – not sure”

Q5. As an IT professional - Do you get enough training in your job?

48% saying no with 39% says “yes” which speaks well for Ireland’s employers in this respect.

Q6, I should get an increase in my salary of 10% / 20% / 30% / 40%

60% felt they are due an increase of 10-20% in their salary.

Q7. As an IT professional in Ireland, what’s your favourite jobs site in Ireland?

Once again,  www.ComputerJobs.ie is voted the top jobs site by 46% with Irish Jobs coming 2nd @ 17% - Sorry Irish Jobs!!
