The right data scientist will be a part of analytics team within the financial sector and will be helping my client to provide a top-quality service for their customers. By joining this team, the successful data scientist can expect a vibrant and enthusiastic environment with interesting projects to work on.
Responsibilities
* To advise upon and help implement new financial strategies
* Analyse large data sets and extract insights from them
* Explain and present insights in a simple and basic manner
* Support and advise upon machine learning algorithms
* Model data in an appropriate format
Requirements
* Good understanding of SAS, SQL, R and Python
* Good understanding of machine learning and natural language processes
* Postgraduate qualification in a relative field
* At least 2 years’ experience in an analytical role
* Experience in the financial industry and/or a consulting position desirable.
Salary
* Salary: 55-65k
