Reporting to the Head of IT, We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager or IT Operations Manager to join a European Financial Services Provider. Exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding organisation, adopting transformational change (including core IT Systems), with the security of the financial backing of a Global parent.
You will take ownership of the IT Systems Operations from the Head of IT, allowing him to focus more fully on IT security, governance and IT Systems Regulatory Compliance.
Really interesting opportunity to join, as the company has just completed a major systems transformation, moving to a Greenfield Cloud based Architecture with specialist systems support & administration being provide by external vendors, having extracted IT from the parent organisation.
You must be able to operate in a multi-vendor ecosystem, where IT services are outsourced but with you & a small team of 3 maintaining governance of the services.
Owning the new, greenfield Cloud Transformed IT Systems environment, it is expected that your technical expertise in Azure & Microsoft Cloud applications & Cloud technologies will enable you to enhance the newly transformed systems environment, manage the implementation of improvements through the external service providers and ensuring this best-of-breed solution underpins the business into the future.
Experience & Skillset Requirements:
You must be both Technical - bringing expertise in the design & operation of Azure Cloud environments (Azure, Sharepoint Online, O365) and in management - directing & challenging external vendors of IT services & systems (from a Technical perspective only) while managing the IT Operations team of Systems & Desktop Support Engineers.
In addition to the above, the following is also essential:
* Expertise in a Regulated environment - financial services, insurance, banking, Pharma / Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or related
* Expertise in Azure Cloud & Microsoft Cloud Technologies, including Sharepoint Online & Office365
* Azure, ADSF, SAML, LAN/WAN and cybersecurity experience
* Proven ability to build out Azure Cloud Systems environment
* Management in a multi-vendor ecosystem
* Team leading, people management & Service Management
* ITIL or ITSM advantageous
Salary Package = €75-85K + benefits
