Job Title: Product Owner

FRS are partnering up with one of their clients, a software company based in North West Dublin. We are looking to recruit a Product Owner who has a strong interest in technology and the ability to design software solutions to join their team. Strong understanding and experience in Agile methodology required.
What You'll Be Doing?:
* Provide vision and direction to the Agile team and stakeholders
* Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
* Plan and prioritize product feature backlog to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
* Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
* Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
* Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
* Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
* Research and analyse market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
* Follow our competitors and the industry
* Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
* To be the key liaison between Customer and Development team;
* Work with the Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Scrum Teams, and our Professional Services Team to deliver projects of high quality with a smooth transition from development to live;
* To visit Customer sites and work with Customers and market experts to further develop and deliver top quality solutions to our customers worldwide;
* Handover and train our PSD team and customers in the new functionality developed by the team. Go on-site where necessary especially at the early stages of the delivery of new features;
* Documentation of features.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
* Degree / MA in IT / Computer Science or relevant equivalent qualification
* 2+ years of Agile product owner and/or business analysis experience delivering successful products
* In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
* Evidence of previous management in innovation in the software space
* Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work as part of a multi-location, multi-cultural and multi-time zone team
* Effective escalation skills
