Big role on offer for a seasoned Architect in Ireland, the offices are in the Cork area but they are advocates of remote working (within Ireland). This is an established tech startup using a nice Java/Go/AWS stack with around 50 microservices, you'll have a hand in code (40/50% of your time) delivering Prototypes/POC's through the full dev lifecycle… also influencing teams across USA and Ireland, making big picture decisions and solving some interesting technical problems. We're looking for someone with a strong theoretical knowledge and fundamentals, non-functional qualities important too, performance, scalability security etc.

Top salary on offer for the right person here, flexible and remote working is the norm.

Criteria:

* Around 5+ years' experience as a Software Architect.
* An experienced software engineer by trade, ideally multiple backend languages (Java, Go, Node would be nice to have).
* Strong AWS experience would be a plus.
* Evidence of solving difficult problems and improving performance.
* Passionate about technology.
* An advocate of best practices, able to get the team on-board with your ideas.
* Excellent leadership qualities.
