There is a requirement to develop an API (application programming interface) Strategy that will help determine future directions. This key product set will enable customer consumer systems to access the required information.
Key Requirements
In order to devise the API Strategy blueprint, the key stages must be identified and developed to include business and technical fundamentals.
The Strategy must adher to standards e.g. REST, and will be accessible, understandable and developer friendly.
The successful candidate will be required to
- Liaise with Team members to develop an API strategy
- Propose how a strategy should be structured
- Document findings from consultation with team members
And
- Present the findings of the final document which must be approved by Senior Management Team
Experience
Experience in having devised a number of successful API Strategies must be clearly articulated in the CV
