Technical Support Engineer Galway
The Role
My client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team due to continued expansion. You will provide technical support for their products and maintain the high-level of customer satisfaction that their customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service
* Be able to conduct research into technical issues
* Have strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
* Be able to document procedures and processes to create knowledge-based articles
Key Requirements:
* 2 years' Experience
* Degree Educated
* Have a good understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, specifically SMTP, DNS and HTTP/S
* Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, etc)
* Cloud computing (AWS)
* Linux/UNIX operating systems (Ubuntu/FreeBSD)
* Cisco IOS (WCCP)
