Business and QA Analyst

Your Role in the Project
This is a full-time role. As a requirements and quality focused business analyst, you will be a central part of our team, involved in the foundational steps of a transformational project to build a new employee engagement and attendance solution utilising Azure Cloud to deliver a market leading SaaS application.
This is a truly exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced business analyst with significant QA skills to help drive this project all the way to product launch.
You will take a central role in small strategic team reporting directly to the Flextime CTO. You will own the requirement documentation and using Azure DevOps, you will be responsible for the tracing of Backlog Items through development sprints and testing to final deployment and release.
You will also work with subject matter experts (SME) to elicit product and business process knowledge become the go-to person for the solution features.
Your duties and activities
Interpret and document product requirements, designs and solution iterations.
Be a quality advocate, be the first QA gateway.
Trace requirements through the full SDLC.
Create and execute Test Plans in Azure DevOps – you will own UAT.
Liaise with developers during the technical design and implementation phases to ensure shared understanding of features.
Create highly visual design specifications to include – user journeys, use cases and business rules to produce high quality accurate and valuable documentation.
Refine and update acceptance criteria for product backlog items.
Assist and guide developers with automated test coverage.
Collaborate with product design and development initiatives to explore and research engagement and attendance solutions, trends and products. Be customer value focused and think and work visually
Propose alternative viewpoints and work positively within the development team.
Must haves:
Academic qualifications at degree or higher level in a relevant domain
Excellent communicator & interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels, fluent written and verbal English
5+ years’ experience as a business analyst or a similar role
Demonstrable proficiencies using and configuring technology to get your work done – Azure DevOps, Visio, Excel and Word, PowerPoint, Wireframes and please tell us about some new ones that you use
Preferable:
Business Analysis/Product Owner certification
QA certification
Experience and knowledge of Time and Attendance, Engagement and HR solutions.
Design qualifications and experience – UX/UI, process design
Project Management Experience
Experience working within an MVP environment
Strong experience in User Accepting Testing, Agile and waterfall methodologies.
Compensation
Salary from €50 - 65k DOE
