Data Quality Analyst – Dublin 2
My client is one of the leading providers of Financial Services in Ireland. They are currently on the lookout for a Data Quality Analyst to join their team based in Dublin 2. The individual will be to work as part of the Data Analytics Run team in the formation and execution of data quality between source systems.
Responsibilities:
• Execute data quality control processes for downstream data, ensuring:
• Accuracy – correct and up to date data as registered
• Completeness – data is comprehensive
• Timeliness – data is delivered on time and in line with data delivery agreement
• Consistency– figures align across sources

• Perform analysis on data variables to ensure they align across systems and determine if they are fit for purpose
• Work with the Data, ICT, Finance, Risk, and Group to coordinate month end activities with relevant stakeholders across local and Group
• Troubleshoot data quality issues to identify root causes
• Collaborate with Development and local stakeholders to implement solutions in response to data quality delivery issues
• Work with stakeholders to gather and understand functional requirements, analyze and implement appropriate data quality solutions as required
• Build strong and effective relationships with ICT, Finance, Risk, Group and participate in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives
• Understand and recognise the end-to-end benefits of the high data quality
• Identify areas for improvement in striving for best practice in data quality
• Participate and contribute to data audits on data quality checks

Skills and experience:
• Experience working in an environment with time critical deliveries
• Experience in self-serve analytics tools i.e. Power BI, Tableau
• Relevant Business or Technical Degree
• Knowledge of IFRS9 a plus
• Technical skills such as SQL and knowledge of databases a plus
