Amidst all the uncertainty of 2020, this Irish owned Fintech in Dublin has had a very productive year. They need an Engineering Manager with lots of experience to lead the entire IT function (30+ people), the primary team in Dublin and 2 offshore teams. They are building new products for some huge clients all over the world, expected to increase the headcount in technology throughout 2021. This will suit someone with a SAAS background, experienced driving change in IT departments, making key hires, process driven, someone who can identify problems, decide on the right course of action, and potentially pitch for budgets to facilitate change. You'll not be hands-on code, but a development background is fairly important for them, Java would be ideal.

The candidate:

* 5+ years' Engineering Management experience.
* Strong knowledge of the Java stack.
* Extensive Agile and SAAS experience.
* Good negotiation skills and experienced managing budgets.
* Process driven line manager.
* Experience within Fintech would be advantageous.
* Strong motivational and communication skills.
