Embedded Software Development Engineer/Shannon/Hybrid working option/permanent role

Your new role

As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with the Electrical Engineering teams to design, prototype, validate, and maintain next-generation industrial sensing systems. This includes Designing and developing software/firmware, perform validation, and maintenance of industrial grade Embedded systems. Evaluating system level requirements by brainstorming with Product Specialists, Product Managers, and other peers throughout the organisation as well as Performing cross platform development of C/C++ code.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to successful in this role you will have 3+ years experience with developing Embedded C/C++ applications for Embedded systems. Ideally you will have experience with operating systems such as Linux, QNX Neutrino, Micrium μC/OS. Preferably you will have experience with serial communications including RS232, RS485, Modbus, I2C and SPI. You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering.
