My client are seeking a Vendor Manager with experience within the Telecoms industry.

The role will be based remotely from home initially, and will then be based in Dublin Ireland once Lockdown rules are relaxed

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and consolidating input of the managed Assets, including the likes of:
* Actively manage and track'software and hardware'support agreements
* Provide reporting to support client's budgeting and forecasting for software and hardware agreements and overall investments
* Report results of software metering tracking to identify candidates for l icense reclaiming

Reviewing and consolidating input of the managed Licenses, including but not limited to:
* Report where license compliance concerns arise and working with the client to remediate
* Report on license usage, as may be requested by the client from time to time
* Report to the client on any new license requirements which might be driven by but not limited to: changes to the hardware environment, new applications, modified applications, changes in the licensing models used by the licensor
* Report to the client the status of SSL certificate validity sufficiently in advance of expiry date, providing the data (CSR) required to carry out the renewal, receiving the new SSL from the client and organising the installation of the new certificate/s
* Liaise with the client of any audit requests or questions about license usage
* Support the client in any audit that may take place

Organising selected number of governance sessions with key suppliers, as may be agreed, based on information to be collected during transition of the role
* Including building performance reports for these suppliers

Management of Third Party Contracts:
* Support the client in the preparation and ongoing reporting required for support and maintenance renewals
* Support the client in contract termination and renewal activities that may be required, including exploring alternative options for optimisation
* Alert the client to notify Third Party Contract activity in a timely fashion
* Supporting the client's planning and control processes
* Report to the client in regards to a Third Party request for additional charges, for the client to action
* Notify the client immediately of any dispute or claim in relation to a Third Party contract, for the client to action

Skills required - Essential:
* Experience in managing and facilitating Vendor Service performance reviews
* Experience in commercial management
* Experience in tracking and reporting on operations service KPIs
* Experience in managing contracts for products and support
* Understanding of infrastructure, application, service desk and security towers
* Experience in managing assets, including Licenses, 3rd Party Software, Hardware
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills

Desirable:
* Knowledge of Telecoms domain
* Experience in product evaluation
