Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Job Purpose:
This person will be required to work as part of the existing Insights team to Use Microsoft SSIS to amend and build new ETL packages as per scope of the projects assigned. The primary function of this role is to augment the existing resources and work with the Project Manager and Project team to update and create new ETL packages for ETL of data from multiple sources and multiple locations that are being developed across multiple projects while transferring skills needed to support these dashboards once live and implement new projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Roles:
• Build new ETL to load data into the data warehouse(s) and data marts
• Amend existing ETL packages to load data into dw and data marts
• Sql scripting
• Work with multiple data connections to different data sources
• Advise on streamlining existing comprehensive ETL ssis packages with full process optimisation
• Provide on-going technical support and skills transfer to the insights team
• Any duties appropriate to the job which may be assigned from time to time by the Project
Leads/Department Head
Service Management and Delivery
• Maintenance of existing applications and developing new applications functionality
• Carrying out change requests and bug fixes
• Initiating, seeing through and completing projects throughout its life cycle as directed by the Project Manager
• Carrying out any further implementations / updates in reference to software / applications or service standards as requested and directed by the Project Manager
• Adherence to all local and wide Policies and Procedures
• Attend any training that may be assigned by the Management Team
• Attend meetings as requested by the Project Manager

Essential
• 3+ years’ experience of SSIS ETL
• Senior experience working on large scale project(s)
• 2+ years SQL Programming experience
• Must demonstrate working knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence Toolset (BIDS)
