About the role:
Zenith Technologies are looking for a Systems Hardware Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Team based in Cork.
The successful candidate will be supporting in house Delta V System Integration projects and site Hardware projects.
Supporting site team on Delta V project deliverables including Upgrades
Vendor FATs for Hardware
Defining project hardware Scope and requirements
Generation and Review of hardware design deliverables and BOMs
Drafting of RFQs for hardware projects
Liaising directly with the suppliers in terms of status of orders and delivery plans
Coordination of delivery and testing for HW items
Support Client and represent client on their behalf in any correspondence or testing with HW procurement contracts placed directly by client where necessary
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Networking or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related Delta V Hardware experience within Pharma/Biotech preferably.
Previous experience with manufacturing hardware, from field devices and instrumentation hardware to control panels, industrial HMI's, Server and switch panels.
Previous experience of creating, reviewing and approving of project deliverables such as design documents, drawings and calculations, FAT/SAT installation, SOP's and validation activities.
The ability to work and make decisions independently and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities is required.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in cross-functional team environments, as well as independently
Excellent PC skills with proficiency in automation systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
