Automation Specialist Cork €70-100k+

We are currently looking for an experienced, highly-motivated Automation specialist to join our client's Infrastructure team who can be responsible for the design, implementation and administration of new platforms within enterprise level applications for a global client base.

You will have full autonomy for the solution design, from initial requirement gathering to testing and integrations so you will need a passion for automation, extensive knowledge of VMware products, capacity planning, performance monitoring, optimization and troubleshooting.

This role can be based from Dublin, Cork or remote working with occasional visits to the office.

Responsibilities

* Development and deployment of Automated Projects

* Troubleshooting production problems within virtualization environments

* Define, document and follow standards and best practices for systems design, testing, and implementation.

* Drive scripting and automation to develop solutions to common problems.

Skills Required

* Expertise with the vRealize suite of software

* Extensive experience in VMware vRealize Automation

* Experience with the vRealize Orchestrator able to perform analysis, build automation scripts and automation processes

* Experience deploying and configuring ESXi hosts

* Experience with Azure/AWS integrations and deployments

* Scripting skills with Python/Shell/PowerCLI etc

* Container deployments/Kubernetes/Terraform etc

* Good experience in documenting and implementing best practices.

* VMWare certifications highly desirable
