Lead Software Engineer in Blockchain

Dublin City Centre

Salary Guide / 100K - €120K p/a + benefits

I'm looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join an impressive blockchain company in Dublin city centre. You'll have 6 engineers directly reporting to you, you'll likely spend around 50% of your time in code and the rest will be spent leading, mentoring and directing the engineers on your team. You'll help build APIs, integrate with a complex system and write infrastructure. Most of their services in Java, some in Go. Ideally you'll be comfortable building a distributed SAAS, working in the cloud, and deploying multiple times per day. This is a fast-paced environment, the team are building new features very quickly so experience in a similar dynamic team is a must.

We're not too sticky on languages, more interested in your engineering prowess and leadership abilities.

Stack:

Java, Go, Microservices, Kubernetes, AWS

Criteria:

At least 8 years' experience as a Software Engineer.
A seasoned, hands-on Technical Team Leader
Plenty of expereince working in the cloud, AWS ideal.
Experience working in a fast-paced SAAS company.
Experienced at all stages of the SDLC.
Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
