UI Developer – Urgent
My Client is an advanced, award-winning IT Services and Software Development company that helps clients achieve their greatest potential using the power of technology. They are currently seeking an UI Developer to join their team.
Responsibilities of the UI Developer Role:
• On a day to day basis you will be developing and testing within an Engineering Scrum Team on an innovative project.
• You will be working with the latest technologies in the market including latest user interface technologies such as JavaScript based frameworks and libraries, HTML 5 and CSS.
• It is expected that you bring your own experience and ideas to the development and you will responsible for developing a standard of high quality UI design in an agile environment including unit testing and other types of functional and non-functional testing.
Required Skills and Experience for the UI Developer Role:
• A 3rd level degree in Computer Science / IT
• Very strong knowledge of latest UI frameworks and Web Services including REST
• Object oriented analysis, design experience
• Ability to work as a member of a high performing engineering scrum team
• Excellent English and Communication skills essential
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical:
• Extensive experience in JavaScript
• Front end architecture patterns e.g. MV*
• Proven competence in large scale SPA development
• Client-side testing (unit, BIT, acceptance, performance)
• Familiar with latest web standards including
• HTML5 APIs e.g. Serviceworkers, Web Components
• Latest ECMAscript standard including transpilers (e.g. Babel)
• CSS3 including common frameworks (LESS) and methods (BEM)
• Integration with JavaScript based reporting and charting solution
• Proficient with APIs and service-oriented architectures
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Familiar with popular JS frameworks and libs including
• Popular app frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
• JavaScript module systems (e.g. Require, System.js)
• Build and packaging systems (e.g. Webpack, NPM)
