Hays are working with a Financial Technology team who are expanding their Software Development team to Belfast where they are creating a new centre of excellence. They are building teams that are fully functional with leadership, back- and front-end development, data engineering and testing, located in Northern Ireland.

Your new role
Simply you will build UIs - and the frameworks that drive them - on top of REST APIs designed in collaboration with your cross-functional team. This Development job will involve working as a part of small, productive development team that cares most about delivering value to the business while emphasising code quality, peer reviews and strong engineering practices.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have worked in a multi-person development team that utilises automated testing, CI pipelines, peer reviews in an Agile Environment. For the more Senior role on this team you should be able to display a
proficiency and in-depth understanding of front-end technologies, especially typescript, react, and SCSS and an ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Pixel-perfect layout may or may not be your thing, but you know that a subtly bad form can ruin a user's impression of your application.
