Senior ICT Specialist - ICT Digital Transformation and Business Engagement in the Civil Service

The ICT Digital Transformation and Business Engagement role, at Higher Executive Officer level, will attract candidates interested in further developing their careers in ICT in areas which have particular focus on enabling and supporting organisations with their digital transformation journey, project management; business analysis; process improvement and innovation; vendor and contract management; ICT policy/research; business relationship and account management; ICT standards development and application; development and application of relevant national and EU legislation or initiatives; project/programme evaluation, governance and oversight of ICT and digital initiatives.
A panel will be formed from this competition to fill vacancies in Civil Service Departments and Offices and Senior ICT Specialist roles in other organisations such as the State Laboratory and An Garda Síochána. It is envisaged that the majority of vacancies arising over the lifetime of the panel will be located in Dublin. However, a limited number of vacancies may also arise in regional locations which may be filled from this panel.
