Senior ICT Specialist - Infrastructure and Operations in the Civil Service

The Senior ICT Specialist - Infrastructure and Operations roles, at Higher Executive Officer level, will attract candidates with an interest in further developing their Infrastructure & Operations career in areas such as enterprise architecture, technical infrastructure design and delivery, including cloud, technical support, ICT service management, ICT operations and server support.

A panel will be formed from this competition to fill vacancies in Civil Service Departments and Offices and Senior ICT Specialist roles in other organisations such as the State Laboratory and An Garda Síochána.  It is envisaged that the majority of vacancies arising over the lifetime of the panel will be located in Dublin. However, a limited number of vacancies may also arise in regional locations which may be filled from this panel.
