Aspira currently has a requirement to deploy a Network engineering team for a Client in Abu Dhabi. As part of this we have a requirement for an experienced DevOps Engineer. This will initially be a working from home project however you will be required to travel to the client site once circumstances allow.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sustainment support of all delivered mission-specific IT equipment (hardware and software), including customized and standalone IT equipment to ensure availability
  • Monitor organization networks such LAN, WAN and other data communications systems
  • Processes data collected from various sources to assist in cyber investigations.
  • Performs network assessments, forensic analysis, and, when directed, assists with cyber security related incidents.
  • Collaborate with NOC team to plan, create and deploy the tools needed to achieve objectives.

  • Analyze internal operational architecture, tools, and procedures for ways to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with development organizations to create and deploy the tools needed to achieve objectives.

Qualifications and experience

  • Advanced Linux systems administration experience
  • Advanced Windows Server administration experience
  • Some software development/programming experience in JAVA, Ruby, C++, C#, etc.
  • Java, python, shell scripting
  • Containerisation experience (Kubernetes, Docker etc )
  • Experience with source code control system concepts in Subversion or GIT/GitHub
  • Adaptability and ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team structure
  • Ability to learn new technologies independent of formalized training
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge with public cloud computing environments such as OpenStack, Amazon AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud services
  • Strong understanding of internet and web based technologies
  • Some experience with SQL and database management
  • Solid understanding of internetworking IPv4 including TCP and UDP protocols, routing, IP subnet management, etc.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP tracing and troubleshooting tools such as SSL capture and decryption, tcpdump, WireShark, etc.
