Our client is a dynamic SaaS product company based in Dublin and California and are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Oracle APEX Engineer for our Dublin development office. This position is responsible for developing a cloud based case management and business intelligence SaaS solution – using Oracle APEX and JavaScript.

The successful candidate must have BSc in CS or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing Oracle APEX based commercial software solutions is required. Good JavaScript development skills are also necessary.

 Core Role Responsibilities:

Work closely the Software Engineering team with responsibility for the following tasks:

·         Designing and implementing new features into Cylynt’s case management solution using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL.

·         Integration of third party APEX plug-ins.

·         Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features.

·         Evaluating new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies.

·         Other activities and responsibilities that may be deemed appropriate as required.

Required Experience:

·         5+ years’ experience building modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript.

·         Managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes, APEX 5 Universal Theme in particular.

·         APEX Plug-in development.

·         Integrating REST APIs into APEX applications.

·         Relational Data modeling.

·         Oracle Database performance and tuning.

·         Knowledge of web application usability trends.

Educational Requirements:

·         B.Sc. in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline.
